Why is there a fixed fee under £180,000 and a percentage above?
Around half of Glasgow homes sell for under £180,000, and a percentage fee on those doesn't reflect the work involved - so we charge a fair fixed fee of £899. Above £180,000, 0.5% of the achieved price keeps our fee proportionate and means we're motivated to get you every pound. The service is identical at both levels - only the fee structure changes.
How long does it take to sell a house in Glasgow?
Most Glasgow homes go under offer within four to eight weeks of listing, though every sale is different. Timescales depend on demand in your area, the type of buyer (a cash buyer can move faster than one arranging a mortgage), and your own circumstances - whether you're ready to move or waiting on a purchase of your own. An accurate valuation matters too: homes priced on real sold evidence attract offers quickly, while overpriced homes sit and go stale. From offer to completion typically takes a further six to ten weeks.
What does the marketing package cost?
We offer three media packages so you choose how far to take your marketing - all include professional photography, with floorplans, virtual tours and drone imagery in the fuller options. Prices are in our sales pack, which you can request on this page, and every fee is agreed in writing before you sign anything. The Home Report, which every Scottish seller needs, is arranged through the surveyor and payable separately.
